Northeast Texas Community College will be closed on Monday, Sept. 5 in observation of the Labor Day holiday. Offices will return to normal hours and classes will resume as usual on Tuesday, Sept. 6. We hope everyone has a fun and safe long weekend!

Have you always wanted to learn a new language? Now is the time to get started! The Northeast Texas Community College Continuing Education department is planning two language courses this fall.
Northeast Texas Community College will host a job fair on Tuesday, September 20th from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. in the Student Union Building (SUB). The event is open to the public in addition to NTCC students. Recruiters from local business and industry will be in attendance. The following have confirmed that they will be represented (more will likely be added):
The NTCC Career and Transfer team will host Annie Garcia, UT Tyler Admissions Coordinator, on Wednesday, Sept. 14 in the SUB from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is to help inform NTCC students about what degrees UT Tyler offers and what requirements are needed for each degree. Mrs. Garcia will waive application fees ($60) for students who apply during her visit.

The Northeast Texas Community College Soccer programs will kick off the 2022 Regular Season on Wednesday, August 31st at 2:00pm hosting LSU-Eunice from Eunice, Louisiana.
Coach Heather Brady will lead the Eagle Women’s team this season who will quickly jump into Conference play on Saturday following the opening game with LSU-Eunice. Brady returns 11 players from last years squad to help lead the six freshmen newcomers.
NTCC Athletics wants to welcome all back to the campus for the 2022-2023 year. For those who are new, or returning we wanted to introduce the coaching staff to you. Each week we will send out a bio on each of the coaching staff. This week we are highlighting Justin Hargrove, Athletic Trainer and Assistant Athletic Director.
Paisley McGee from Northeast Texas Community College is one of 207 Phi Theta Kappa members named a 2022 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholar and will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
With shorter days and final exams approaching, this can be a stressful and depressing time of year for college students. If you find yourself overwhelmed, remember that all NTCC students have access to FREE mental health services.
