Feb. 18 Construction Update

As most of us are aware, it has been a hectic week for construction on campus. An incident Tuesday left much of the campus without power for a short time that morning and the Humanities building has been without electricity since then. We appreciate the patience and adaptability of the faculty, staff and students affected.

Here is what you can expect for the time being:

Construction Alert

Northeast Texas Community College experienced a brief power outage in several buildings Tuesday morning caused by a construction related incident. Power was restored in all buildings except Humanities, which remains without power for the time being. Students who have classes in the Humanities building should report to their classrooms as regularly scheduled and new arrangements will be made at that time.

Feb. 15 Construction Update

As you have probably noticed, the underground construction is making its way around campus. Beginning this weekend, crews will move from between Humanities and Math/Science to the plaza toward the Admin/Student Services building. This may impede walking traffic and noise will continue to be a†concern. Be careful walking and texting in our construction zones!
