The Certified Nurse Aide program at NTCC Sciences is a course series designed to prepare students to take the state certification test with NACES. This 100 hour course prepares entry level nursing assistants to achieve a level of knowledge, skills, and abilities essential to provide basic care to residents of long-term care facilities.
The course consists of 60hrs of class with 40hrs of clinical experience at a local nursing facility. The CNA program at NTCC is a state certified Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP).

Course is restricted to students that need renewal hours for Medication Aide. Course fulfills 7 hour DADS requirement for renewal. Attendees will need to bring their lunch, and drug book. Students are recommended to bring their own laptop. No door registrations will be allowed.
The Northeast Texas Community College Fire Academy is a partnership between Northeast Texas Community College and the Mt Pleasant, Texas, Fire Department. Northeast Texas Community College is a publicly supported, two-year community college that offers educational opportunities in traditional academic studies, occupational/technical programs, and workforce development through credit and noncredit offerings.
