Three powerhouse voices spanning country, classical, Broadway and pop will take the Whatley Center stage when The Texas Tenors perform Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 7:30 p.m.
The Texas Tenors — JC Fisher, Marcus Collins and John Hagen — first gained national attention as finalists on NBC’s America’s Got Talent in 2009. Since then, the classically trained trio has performed more than 2,000 concerts, recorded five studio albums and produced two PBS specials. They are three-time Emmy Award winners and were inducted into the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame in 2022.
Their albums Outside the Lines, Rise and A Collection of Broadway and American Classics all debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts. The trio has also appeared on America’s Got Talent: The Champions and performed for audiences around the world.
“The Texas Tenors have always been a fan favorite here at the Whatley Center, and we are so excited to welcome them back to our stage,” Carolyn Franks, Director of the Whatley Center, said. “They are incredible vocalists, but they are also wonderful entertainers who really connect with the audience. We know this is a show our patrons are going to love.”
The Texas Tenors’ versatility is at the heart of their appeal. Their performances move easily from soaring classical selections and Broadway favorites to country hits, contemporary music and patriotic standards, offering something for a wide range of musical tastes.
The performance, sponsored by Texas Heritage National Bank, is part of the Whatley Center’s 2026-2027 Entertainment Series and is included in season ticket packages. Individual tickets are $40 for adults and $10 for students. Seats can be purchased at www.whatleycenter.com or by calling the box office at 903-434-8181.
