Leann Storck, controller at Northeast Texas Community College, has been selected to participate in the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) 2026-27 Emerging Leaders Program.

Storck is one of just 76 higher education business and finance professionals from across the country selected for this year’s cohort. The group represents 69 colleges and universities across 32 states and the District of Columbia.

“We are incredibly excited for Leann and proud to see her selected for this opportunity,” said Brandi Cave, NTCC vice president for administrative services. “Leann is an outstanding member of our team who brings both expertise and a strong commitment to NTCC. This program will give her an opportunity to continue developing as a leader while connecting with higher education professionals from across the country.”

Now in its sixth year, NACUBO’s Emerging Leaders Program is designed for high-potential, mid-level professionals seeking to strengthen their leadership skills and advance their careers in higher education. Participants take part in online and in-person learning focused on leadership, communication and the evolving higher education business environment.

The 2026-27 cohort will participate in the program through April 2027.

NACUBO represents chief administrative and financial officers at more than 1,700 colleges and universities nationwide and provides professional development and resources supporting the business and financial operations of higher education institutions.
