Theatre Northeast will hold auditions for its upcoming production of William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 6 p.m. in the Whatley Center at Northeast Texas Community College.
Auditions are open to the community, students and employees age 18 and older. Those auditioning should prepare a memorized Shakespeare sonnet. English accents are not required — this production is fun, fast-paced and anything but stuffy.
Twelfth Night features a lively cast of characters, including Viola and Sebastian, Olivia, Orsino, Sir Toby Belch, Malvolio and a host of clowns, servants and sea captains.
Anyone interested in theatre — whether seasoned performers or first-time actors — is encouraged to give it a try.
Because doing a show with Theatre Northeast is, quite simply, an absolute blast.
