The Northeast Texas Community College Bookstore will participate in Texas Tax-Free Weekend on Friday, August 7, and Saturday, August 8, giving students an opportunity to save on qualifying school supplies, uniforms, and NTCC spirit gear.
The bookstore will be open Friday from 8 a.m. to noon and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Students whose Fall 2026 financial aid becomes available on August 7 may also use eligible financial aid to purchase qualifying tax-free items during the event. Financial aid includes non-out-of-pocket payment methods such as FAFSA/Pell Grant funds, student loans, scholarships, and TAA/DARS/Workforce assistance. Students enrolled in summer classes should note that fall financial aid cannot be charged until summer grades have been posted.
Please note that these extended hours apply to the NTCC Bookstore only. Other campus offices, including Financial Aid and the Business Office, may not be available outside of their regular business hours. Students planning to charge purchases to financial aid should ensure their financial aid has been fully processed before visiting.
For questions, please contact the NTCC Bookstore. The staff looks forward to helping students get ready for a successful fall semester.
