Northeast Texas Community College officially kicked off the Fall 2024 semester with its annual Backyard Bash event on Tuesday, Sept. 17th. Dozens of students, faculty and staff gathered for food, games and a pep rally to celebrate our 2024-2025 Eagles Athletics teams. Click here to view more photos on Facebook!

“We were so pleased with how many people attended the Backyard Bash. It was wonderful to see everyone gathered together having a great time,” Kim Irvin, NTCC Associate Vice President for Student Services, said. “I want to extend my sincere thanks to all of the student services staff and others who worked hard to make the event such a huge success.”

NTCC administrators served a meal of hamburgers and hotdogs to the hungry crowd. Ja’Quacy Minter, College Navigator, served as emcee for the event.

“Backyard Bash has become a fun tradition at NTCC and this year was one of the best yet. We hope this sets the tone for an amazing semester and school year,” Irvin said.
