The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a $1,000 scholarship donation from Mr. Vernon Donaldson on behalf of the Sam Donaldson Memorial Scholarship Fund. The gift will provide two $500 scholarships that will be awarded for the Fall 2024 semester. One will be the Phyllis Autry Scholarship for nursing majors and the other will be the Sam Donaldson Memorial Scholarship for industrial technology majors. Nita May (left), NTCC Director of Development, is pictured receiving the check from Donaldson. Annual scholarships like these are a great way to honor or memorialize loved ones and can be established with as little as $500.
