Northeast Texas Community College is currently enrolling for its upcoming Professional Driving Academy (CDL training). New classes begin monthly. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in training for a lucrative new career in just one month.

“Our new CDL drivers are getting jobs with excellent pay and benefits right away. While the program is intense and requires a lot of commitment while you are enrolled, the return on your investment can be huge,” Jimmy Smith, NTCC Director of Continuing Education and Corporate Training, said.

The four-week professional driving academy includes 160 hours of training and the cost includes the DOT physical, drug screen, MVR and CDL permit. Students spend 50 hours in the classroom and 110 hours on the road driving. The cost is $4,191 and financial aid may be available. Students who are residents of Mt. Pleasant or Titus County may be eligible for a special scholarship sponsored by the Mount Pleasant Economic Development Corporation
