Every semester full-time and associate faculty in NTCC’s Division of Math, Physics and Engineering can select an outstanding student, who is exceptional in some way. For the Spring 2023 semester, Mathematics Professor Dr. Jackie Johnston nominated Jacob Harvey.
Dr. Johnston explained that “Jacob is an initiative-taker, independently motivated, and does not let difficult work deter his progress. Through hard work and determination Jacob has done extremely well in a very difficult eight-week online Finite Mathematics’ course. A professor could not ask for a more conscientious, hard-working, and dedicated student. I have no doubt Jacob will be successful in whatever career path he pursues.”
