Northeast Texas Community College is pleased to have everyone back on campus as we kick off the 2022-2023 academic year. While not causing as many serious illnesses as before, COVID-19 continues to spread in our area. It is important that everyone on campus knows what to do in the event that you test positive for COVID-19. NTCC’s guidelines are below:

If You Test Positive: STAY HOME!

Everyone, regardless of vaccination status, should:

• Stay home for 5 days
• If you have no symptoms or your symptoms are resolving after 5 days, you can leave your house.
• Continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.
• If you have fever, continue to stay home until your fever resolves.
• Use NTCC’s self-report form to let your instructors/supervisor know you are isolating:

The well-being of our students, faculty and staff is our top priority. Please continue to practice social distancing when possible, use good hygiene practices and do everything you can to slow the spread of COVID-19. Visit www.ntcc.edu/covid-19 for more guidelines on what to do if you test positive for COVID-19 or have been directly exposed.
