Masks no longer required at NTCC

Message From The President, May 20, 2021:

Dear NTCC Faculty, Staff, and Students:

As most of you are probably aware, earlier this week Governor Abbott issued his Executive Order GA-36, which prohibits government entities from requiring or mandating individuals to wear face coverings.  In compliance with that order, effective immediately, NTCC will no longer require the wearing of face coverings on its main campus or any of its outreach centers.

Even though the mask requirement is being eliminated, face coverings are always optional for those who feel more comfortable continuing to wear them and are still being recommended by the CDC for those individuals who have not yet been vaccinated.  NTCC will plan to continue with its current cleaning protocols and will also strongly encourage all members of the campus community to get vaccinated whenever possible.

I want to sincerely thank all of our college family for the cooperation and great team effort over this past year that has helped us keep our campus safe.  At this pivotal point in the national fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, we have so much to be thankful for as we look forward to a welcome return to a more normal campus experience and way of life.

Go Eagles!!

Dr. Ron Clinton
