The Division of Social Sciences is pleased to announce Stacey Tutt of Gilmer as the 2019-2020 Outstanding Student in World History.

Stacey’s current major is Early Education through 6th grade. When informed of her selection, Stacey said “I enjoy History and digging down to find out why people of the past did what did. I have one son who is seven. This is my second round of college. My first time I obtained my Financial Management Accounting Certificate. I enjoy the Professors and the pace that NTCC offers. I am completely honored and in awe to receive this honor. It really is amazing and humbling. Thank you so much for this recognition of hard work not only by me but by the others who were nominated as well.”

Nominated by Associate Faculty member John Russo, Stacey participated in every class, and her intelligent observations indicate genuine interest in history and current events.

Full-time and Associate Faculty who teach World History are Melissa Fulgham, John Russo, and Kayla Reno. For more information about World History or the Social Sciences contact Dr. Fulgham, Division Chair for the Social Sciences as mfulgham@ntcc.edu
