† † †Northeast Texas Community College recently won five regional honors for its efforts in marketing and public relations. Jodi Weber, Director of Marketing and Public Relations, accepted the awards at the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) District 4 conference in Little Rock, Arkansas.

† † †NTCC earned gold Medallions of Excellence in the Promotional Folder, Original Photography (sports photo by Jeremy Weber) and Radio Ad Series categories. The school also received Bronze Medallions of Merit in Feature Writing (by Jodi Weber) and Sports Brochure.

† † †"We were very pleased to learn that our marketing and athletic departments received these awards. It is always nice to benchmark our work against other colleges and find out that ours is among the best. I am very proud of our staff for producing such relevant, creative work," Dr. Jonathan McCullough, NTCC Vice President for Advancement, said.

† † †The entries were up against those of two-year colleges of all sizes in NCMPR's District 4 ? which includes Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Colorado and New Mexico, and Wyoming.

† † †"Being a small college, we have a small staff and fewer resources than many schools. It speaks well of our team that our materials can compete with those of large metropolitan schools," McCullough said.
