NTCC offers free GED, ESL classes

The Adult Education Department at Northeast Texas Community College is accepting new and returning students for its GED (General Educational Development) and ESL (English as a Second Language) programs. Those interested in participating in either of these free educational programs should call to make an appointment for registration beginning January 3, 2022.  While classes are offered in various convenient locations around the area, all registration will be held at the Community Resource Center (formerly MPISD Administration Building) at 105 N.

December commencement photos, videos available

 

Northeast Texas Community College celebrated December 2021 commencement on Friday, Dec. 10. The ceremony was held at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. There were 135 graduates who earned a combined 99 degrees and 62 certificates of competency. The event was streamed live on YouTube and Facebook. African-American History II offered in spring

Need a history course for your degree? Consider taking HIST 2382 African-American History II. It meets the Core Curriculum requirement for United States History.  HIST 2382 covers the period from Reconstruction to the present, the same time period and events as covered in HIST 1302, but with some more colorful stories!
