Each year, the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation awards more than 150 scholarships to help students achieve their educational goals. The funds for these scholarships come from generous individuals, companies, foundations, civic organizations, etc. Scholarships are competitive and awarded based on a variety of criteria including a personal essay.
"We are so proud of these students for their hard work and dedication to their studies. Not everyone who applies gets a scholarship, so these students should be proud of themselves for this accomplishment," Dr. Jonathan McCullough, NTCC Executive Vice President for Advancement, said.
The following students, listed by city, recently attended the annual Scholarship Brunch. Other students may have received scholarships, but were not present at the event.
