Cyber Security Micro Credential

NTCC is excited to announce a new Cyber Security Micro Credential program that will kick off in Spring 2022. This one-semester certificate will prepare students for an exciting career in a rapidly-growing field that is in high-demand from companies in this region and beyond.

This is an entry-level certificate, so you do not have to have a strong foundation in computer science to succeed. The ideal candidate will have at least moderate computer literacy skills and a willingness to learn!

The Cyber Security micro credential program takes place over the course of one full semester. Classes begin January 18, 2022 and will be completed on May 12, 2022. Students will enroll in all three courses, which will be structured as follows:

  • Introduction to Computing (COSC 1301): 16-week course 
  • Fundamentals of Networking Technologies (INTW 1325): 8-week course
  • Information Technology Security (ITSY 1342): 8-week course
     

 

The Cyber Security micro credential program is completely online. There is not an on-campus component and courses are delivered remotely. However, students are welcome to utilizes on-campus resources as needed.

The only catch is that you have to act quickly to take advantage of this amazing opportunity. The scholarship is only available for a limited time, so it is important that you enroll for the classes that start January 18.
