A health-related work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory skills and concepts. Direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional. Emphasis is on the continued development of beginning professional nursing skills within the acute and long term setting for clients that are stable and have increasingly complex conditions and needs for health promotion maintenance or restoration.
