EXPERIENCE AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Knowledge of developmental math content and how adults and first-generation students learn.
Experience with or supporting online or hybrid courses, including with the Blackboard learning management system (LMS).
Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES:
Teach assigned developmental math courses and corequisite support sections using the approved syllabi and department learning outcomes.
Deliver lessons that engage students, meet different learning needs, and build confidence with math.
Use Blackboard to post course materials.
