About this position
Teach courses in Computer Science with the primary emphasis on CyberSecurity and Amazon web services (AWS). The Faculty member will recruit, retain, and advise students, develop curricula, and participate in the departmental and college governance as part of a team. The Faculty member will also participate in outreach and contribute to departmental, college, and community service. In these and other ways, the Faculty member will help develop innovative approaches to enhancing student engagement, increasing diversity, and expanding collaboration with community and business partners.
About our ideal candidate
Candidates must possess a Masters degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Computer Science or sub-field and have (I.E. CyberSecurity, Management Information Systems, Etc.).
Must be current in the emerging fields of Computer Science with priority being given to candidates with a strong background in one or more of the following areas:
- Networking
- Mobile Development
- Web and Social Networking
- or CyberSecurity.
A minimum of 3 years, or equivalent, of full-time successful teaching experience is required. Community college teaching experience preferred.
