Northeast Texas Community College welcomed a great group of incoming students to campus this week for the first EagleGanza event of the summer. The full-day experience gave participants the opportunity to meet faculty and staff, connect with other new students, and take care of important enrollment steps like advising, testing, financial aid, and registration—all in one place.
EagleGanza is designed to help new students start college on the right foot by providing a smooth, supportive, and informative onboarding experience. Attendees also enjoyed fun icebreakers, lunch, and parent information sessions.
“We were thrilled with the turnout and energy at our first EagleGanza,” said Jessica Dorantes, Associate Director of Student Services, said. “Students left feeling excited and confident about starting college this fall.”
Three additional EagleGanza dates are scheduled: July 9, July 24, and August 12. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. New students can learn more and sign up at www.ntcc.edu/eagleganza.
