About Simulation Lab

  Why use simulation?

Simulation has been proven to reduce human error while increasing learner’s skill development. Simulation allows learners to practic skills in a controlled environment. Simulation offers access to patients on demand.

Northeast Simulation Lab is a resource available to Health Science students and healthcare professionals to facilitate real patient situations in a life like-setting. We are committed to advancing safe, high-quality effective patient care throughout all Health Science programs and throughout the region by integrating cutting-edge simulation technologies into the training of all learners.

Our Facility

Located in UHS 239, the Simulation Lab consists of one large room and a hospital room. The hospital room is designed to simulate a clinical setting with headwall and medical equipment. The large room can be used as three individual rooms or as one room, for training with larger groups, allowing for a highly flexible dynamic setting.
