Motorcycle Training  

Motorcycle Training at Northeast Texas Community CollegeNortheast Texas Community College is now offering two motorcycle safety training courses through Motorcycle Training Center based out of Farmers Branch, Texas. You can contact them via phone at 800-410-4549.

Classroom instruction for both courses is held at the Elizabeth Hoggatt Whatley Agriculture Center located across from the NTCC main campus on FM 1735 in Mt. Pleasant.

Driving instruction is held at the NTCC driving pad.  Both courses are approved by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and the Texas Department of Public Safety.

 



(BRC) Basic Rider Course

The Basic Rider Course is designed to teach the novice and experienced rider proper riding technique, including basic motor skills (shifting, turning, stopping, swerving) as well as a driving strategy for urban street riding.

(ERC) Experienced Rider Course

The Experienced Rider Course (ERC) is a one day course. The course addresses diminishing skills for riders as well as large motorcycle issues using the student's motorcycle.
